Banana Nut Cheerios Energy Bars

  1. Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, mix cereal, cranberries, almonds and sunflower nuts.
  3. In 2-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, brown sugar and peanut butter to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
  6. Pour syrup mixture over cereal mixture; toss to coat.
  7. Press firmly in pan.
  8. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  9. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.
