Sweet Maple Parfaits

  1. Combine pecans and 2 Tbsp.
  2. of syrup in small microwaveable bowl.
  3. Microwave on HIGH 2 min.
  4. or until thickened, stirring every 30 sec.
  5. Spread onto large piece of waxed paper or foil; cool completely.
  6. Meanwhile, pour milk into medium bowl.
  7. Add dry pudding mix.
  8. Beat with wire whisk 2 min.
  9. or until mixture is well blended and starts to thicken.
  10. Add 1/4 cup of the remaining syrup; mix well.
  11. Gently stir in 1/2 cup of the whipped topping.
  12. Spoon 1 Tbsp.
  13. of the wafer crumbs into each of four dessert dishes; top each with 1/2 cup of the pudding mixture, 1 Tbsp.
  14. of the wafer crumbs and 1 Tbsp.
  15. of the remaining whipped topping.
  16. Top with pecans.
  17. Drizzle evenly with remaining 2 Tbsp.
  18. syrup just before serving.
  19. Store leftover desserts in refrigerator.
