Homemade Tamari Almonds

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Place raw almonds on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Cook almonds for 10 minutes in preheated oven.
  4. Remove almonds from oven and pour into a large bowl.
  5. Pour tamari over warm almonds.
  6. Stir completely and soak in tamari for 20 minutes.
  7. Stir 1-2 times as almonds soak.
  8. Place soaked almonds back on parchment-paper-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake soaked almonds for 20 minutes.
  10. When almonds come out of oven, they will still be a bit soft.
  11. Almonds will firm up as they cool.
