Homemade Tamari Almonds
- 16 ounces, weight Raw Almonds
- 1/4 cups Tamari
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Place raw almonds on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cook almonds for 10 minutes in preheated oven.
- Remove almonds from oven and pour into a large bowl.
- Pour tamari over warm almonds.
- Stir completely and soak in tamari for 20 minutes.
- Stir 1-2 times as almonds soak.
- Place soaked almonds back on parchment-paper-lined baking sheet.
- Bake soaked almonds for 20 minutes.
- When almonds come out of oven, they will still be a bit soft.
- Almonds will firm up as they cool.
