Furikake Chex Mix
- 1 box Rice Chex cereal
- 1 box Corn Chex cereal
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. Shoyu (soy sauce)
- 2 bottles Furikake
- 3/4 cup karo syrup
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- Additional butter, pretzels and/or peanuts (optional)
- Heat butter, karo syrup, shoyu and oil in a pot.
- Remove from burner and add sugar, stil until sugar dissolves.
- Pour cereal in 2 large tin foil pans.
- Pour mixture over cereal, mix well until cereal is lightly coated.
- Pour furikake over mixture and bake at 250F for 1 hour.
- Mix and turn over cereal every 15 minutes.
