Chicken A L' Orange Recipe
- 2 1/2 to 3 pound chicken (best with boneless)
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1/2 c. chili sauce
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tbsp. molasses
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- Season chicken pcs with salt and pepper.
- Coat lightly with flour and brown in the oil.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and place in casserole.
- Remove grease from skillet and simmer the liquid mix of orange juice, chili sauce, green pepper, mustard, garlic salt, molasses and soy sauce.
- Simmer for 3 min.
- Pour over chicken in casserole.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
