Savory Popcorn Macaroons
- 3 each egg whites
- 1 dash salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup nuts toasted
- 1 cup popcorn, popped popped, chopped in the blender
- Beat egg whites til frothy and add the salt and baking powder.
- beat until stiff.
- Fold in the toasted nuts or toasted coconut and the chopped popped corn.
- Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350F (180C).
- for 15 mintues, until lightly browned.
- Makes 2 dozen.
