Crunchy Puncy

  1. Dissolve the Jell-O in 9 cups of the boiling water.
  2. Combine the sugar with the other 4 cups of boiling water and bring to a quick boil.
  3. Add sugar and water mixture to Jell-O mixture and set aside to cool.
  4. When cool, add lemon juice and pineapple juice. Mix well and freeze in plastic containers or milk cartons.
  5. When ready to serve, place bucket in hot water to loosen or let set outside freezer until it loosens.
  6. Put punch in bowl.
  7. Add the ginger ale, 7-Up or Sprite.
  8. The punch may be slightly broken up with a large knife, but since it does not freeze solid like ice, the soda usually makes it just right to serve.
  9. Serves 50 punch cups.
