Pork roast with honey-mustard glaze
- 1 pork roast
- 1 granulated garlic/ or fresh
- 1 honey
- 1 Dijon and yellow mustard
- 1 salt and pepper
- 1 spices
- I cooked this low and slow @ 275F.
- Sprinkle gran.
- garlic to taste all over roast.
- put in roasting pan, cover and cook until you can smell the fragrance of the garlic.
- When top of roast looks white with garlic, is the time to make glaze.
- First take lid off roast and put back in oven.
- Mix all next ingredients together.
- It all goes according to taste.
- I used 1tsp.
- dijon, about 1tblsp.
- yellow and enough honey to make sweet but not desert
- add spices of choice-- I used flat leaf parsley, paprika and oregano, dried and ground
- pour glaze over roast and return to oven.
- Reserve some glaze to do second coating
- Cook to nice golden brown.
- I served it with Basmati rice, brussel sprouts and kernel corn with butter.
- I also made a gravy from the boiling water off the veg, thickened with Bisto and flour slurry.
- Turned out excellent!Everybody was going back for 2nds and 3rds.
