Beer Batter Chicken Recipe
- 1 chicken cut up
- 1 bottle Guiness Stout
- 1 Spanish onion
- 1/2 c. flour
- Black pepper
- 2 c. corn oil or possibly Crisco for frying
- Peel and slice onion and place in bowl or possibly Ziploc bag along with chicken (skinless is fine if you want to cut down on fat intake).
- Pour in bottle of Guiness Stout (or possibly any beer 12 ounces).
- Let sit in refrigerator at least 4 hrs or possibly freeze for future use.
- Now throw away beer and onions and roll chicken in flour to that black pepper has been added.
- Fry gently 10 to 15 min on each side.
- Drain on brown paper bags.
- The crunch and coating will amaze you.
