Book Club Chili Recipe
- 1/2 lb lean grnd beef
- 1/2 lb grnd turkey breast
- 1 lrg onion minced
- 3 can pinto beans - (15 ounce ea) undrained
- 1 pkt frzn corn - (16 ounce)
- 1 can minced tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce) undrained
- 1 can minced tomatoes with green chiles (10 ounce)
- 1 pkt taco seasoning mix - (1.4 ounce)
- In Dutch oven over medium heat, cook beef, turkey and onion 10 min, or possibly till meat is no longer pink and onions are soft; drain well.
- Add in beans, corn, tomatoes, tomatoes with green chiles and taco seasoning mix.
- Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 min.
- (Don't overcook or possibly you'll have mush.)
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
