Semi-Sweet Vegetables in Sauce

  1. Suggested shopping instructions: Carrots: Chop into 1/2 centimeter round slices.
  2. Onion: Chop into large quartered rings.
  3. Celery Sticks: Chop into large angled pieces.
  4. Green Pepper: Chop same as onions.
  5. Saute veggies in oil on med/high.
  6. Do not overcook.
  7. Veggies should still be al'dente.
  8. Mix cornstarch into the cold chicken bouillon.
  9. (The other option is to use bouillon cubes.
  10. Dissolve 1 bouillon cube in the saute pan with 1/2 cup water and simmer.
  11. Dissolve cornstarch in the other 1/2 cup COLD water.
  12. Then add to the saute pan).
  13. Add raisins and stir.
  14. Turn off heat.
  15. Plate veggies and top with plenty of cashews.
  16. Enjoy!
