Yams and Apples Casserole
- 2 apples, diced
- 13 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon allspice
- 12 cup pecans
- 1 (28 ounce) can yams, drained
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup miniature marshmallow
- Toss apples with the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and pecans.
- Layer with the yams that have been sliced smaller and rolled in melted butter.
- Cover.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
- Uncover.
- Sprinkle with miniature marshmallows.
- Bake 20 minutes more, uncovered, until marshmallows are toasted, hot and bubbly.
