Strawberry Cake

  1. HEAT oven to 350F.
  2. COMBINE cake mix and dry gelatin mix in large bowl.
  3. Add eggs, oil, water and 3/4 cup strawberries; beat with mixer until well blended.
  4. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans.
  5. BAKE 30 minute or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  6. Cool cakes in pans 10 minute Remove from pans to wire racks; cool completely.
  7. Meanwhile, drain remaining strawberries.
  8. BEAT cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy.
  9. Gradually beat in sugar.
  10. Add drained berries; mix well.
  11. Whisk in COOL WHIP.
  12. Stack cake layers on plate, spreading 1 cup COOL WHIP mixture between layers.
  13. Frost top and side with remaining COOL WHIP mixture.
  14. Keep refrigerated.
