Papa Great's Chocolate Fudge Birthday Cake
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 34 cups all-purpose flour
- 34 cup hershey's special dark cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk, with
- 1 teaspoon vinegar, added to equal the one cup
- 12 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling coffee
- Heat oven to 350F Prepare two 9-inch round baking pans.
- Spray the pans with cooking spray that has flour in the formula.
- Cover the bottom of the pans with a circle of parchment, then spray again.
- Sift together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in the mixing bowl.
- In another bowl mix the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
- Add the liguids to the dry mixture and beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes.
- Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin).
- Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks.
- Cool completely.
