Blue Cheese Patties Recipe
- 3 slices fresh white bread
- 6 ounce. blue cheese, room temperature
- 2 (3 ounce.) Packages cream cheese
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
- Butter
- Process bread slices in a food processor or possibly a blender to make fine crumbs.
- Place in a pie pan.
- In a food processor using steel blade, process half blue cheese and half cream cheese till well blended.
- Transfer to a bowl and process remaining cheese.
- Add in to cheese in a bowl.
- Mix and shape into 12 small balls.
- Flatten to create patties.
- Dip patties in flour, then in Large eggs mixed with lowfat milk and lastly in bread crumbs.
- Brown on both sides in butter in skillet, 3 to 4 min.
