Glazed Baked Ham Recipe
- 1 (16 lb.) fully cooked bone-in ham
- 1/2 c. strained orange marmalade
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 2 teaspoon dry mustard
- Whole cloves
- Heat oven to 325 degrees.
- Place ham, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan.
- Roast in oven 2 hrs and 40 min or possibly till meat thermometer inserted in center registers 125 to 130 degrees (allow about 10 min per lb.).
- While ham is roasting, mix orange marmalade, corn syrup and dry mustard.
- Remove ham from oven and cut off rind.
- Increase oven temperature to 375 degrees.
- Score ham with sharp knife making diagonal cuts 1/8 inch deep and about 3/4 inch apart in one direction and then a crosswise direction.
- Stud ham with cloves and brush with some of the glaze.
- Bake 15 to 20 min, basting frequently with more glaze, till glaze is golden.
- Remove ham to hot serving platter.
