Mema's Black-Eyed Pea Dish
- 1 12 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (15 1/2 ounce) canstrappey black-eyed peas (1 with jalapenos and 1 without)
- salt
- pepper
- Brown beef, onion, & pepper together; drain grease.
- Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
- Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
