Pasticchio
- 1 1/2 c. macaroni
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 c. ground beef
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 3 tsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan
- Cook macaroni according to directions on package.
- Drain. Stir in 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup milk and 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
- In skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
- Set aside.
