Strawberry Cream Torte

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Spray a 9 inch springform pan with bakers spray.
  3. Line bottom with parchment paper and spray paper with non stick spray
  4. -MAKE BROWNIE BASE
  5. Melt chocolate and butter until just smooth in microwave or over double boiler.
  6. Cool to room temperature.
  7. Meanwhile in a medium bowl beat eggs and sugar until well combined, add vanilla and salt and beat in
  8. Stir in flour just to combine then add cooled chocolate mixture and stir just until uniform in color
  9. Pour into prepared springform pan and bake about 15 to 18 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Cool completely on a rack
  11. MAKE STRAWBERRY CREAM FILLING
  12. Puree strawberries and granulated sugar in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  13. Chill puree.
  14. Dissove strawberry jello in the boiling water
  15. Add chilled strawberry puree to jello and mix well.
  16. Refigerate until just starting to thicken but NOT setting up.
  17. About 45 minutes, stir often for even cooling.
  18. Beat cream until it forms soft peaks
  19. Add cream cheese, vanilla and confectioner's sugar, beat just until it is combined
  20. Beat in cold strawberry mixture quickly just until completely blended
  21. Pour over cooled brownie base in springform pam.
  22. Cover and Refigerate at least 6 hours or overnight to set
  23. Run a small sharp knife around edges of springform pan then realease sides of pan
  24. Garnish top of torte with whipped cream, strawberrys and drizzle with warm melted Chocolate.
