Brendan's Famous Onion Rings Recipe

- 2 lrg Onions
- 1 bot your favorite warm salsa
- 3 dsh Your favorite warm sauce, more or possibly less
- 2 c. All-purpose flour (you may need more) Oil for frying

- Mix your favorite warm salsa with a few drops of your favorite warm sauce to get it slightly hotter than you would like it.
- Coat onion rings, one at a time in salsa, then cover with flour.
- Place on plate till you have a sufficient quantity ready to fry.
- (Don't throw out the remaining salsa and flour)
- When you have the rings dipped, heat oil in the pan till warm, then start frying the rings.
- brown on both sides.
- When they are done, mix the remaining salsa and flour together, add in more salsa if dry, more flour if wet, till you have a thick paste, like bread dough.
- Fry in the warm oil till brown and crispy.
- The smaller the better!!
- Serve with lots of salt, ketcup, and salsa or possibly warm sauce.
