Sandy'S Chocolate Cake

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream brown sugar and butter.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy.
  4. Blend in vanilla.
  5. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture.
  6. Mix on low just until combined.
  7. Stir in water until blended. Pour into three greased and floured 9-inch round baking pans.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 minutes.
  9. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.
