Steak Diane

  1. Make sauce first.
  2. Combine butter, mushrooms, onion, garlic, Maggi sauce, pepper and lemon juice in a pan.
  3. Cook and stir together without herbs until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Add in herbs and keep warm while making steaks.
  5. Cook steaks in 2 Tbs butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Turn once during cooking.
  7. When steaks are to desired doneness, remove from heat and plate.
  8. Smother in mushroom sauce and serve.
