Cinnamon Twists

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Mix flour, first amount of sugar, baking powder, and margarine as in a pie dough.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix eggs and milk.
  4. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, and add milk mixture.
  5. Combine to form a dough.
  6. Divide dough into 8 balls.
  7. Roll each ball into a circle like a plate.
  8. Mix together the second amount of sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Sprinkle a heaping tbsp of the cinnamon mixture on each circle, and roll on lightly.
  10. Cut each circle into 8 triangular wedges.
  11. Roll each wedge from the wide end to the point.
  12. Place each twist on a greased cookie sheet.
  13. Bake at 325F until lightly browned.
