JELL-O Sangria Splash Ring
- 2 packages (85 g each) Jell-O Lemon Jelly Powder
- 1 1/2 cups boiling dry white wine
- 2 cups chilled club soda
- 1 Tbsp. orange liqueur (optional)
- 3 cups fruit: sliced strawberries, sliced star fruit, green and red grapes Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- Additional fruit for garnish Target 1 lb For $2.99 thru 02/06
- DISSOLVE jelly powders in boiling wine in medium bowl.
- Let cool to room temperature.
- STIR in club soda and liqueur.
- Chill until jelly is slightly thickened.
- FOLD in 3 cups (750 mL) fruit.
- Pour into 6 cup (1.5 L) mold or loaf pan.
- Chill 4 hours or overnight.
- UNmold; dip mold in hot water for about 10 seconds.
- Gently pull jelly from around edges with moist fingers.
- Place moistened serving plate on top of mold.
- Invert mold and plate; holding mold and plate together, shake slightly to loosen.
- Gently remove mold and centre jelly on plate.
- Garnish with additional fruit.
- GREASE mold slightly with oil for easier removal.
- Substitute other fresh fruit, if desired.
