Tina's Tasty Chicken Souvlaki Recipe
- 1 to 2 lbs. chicken cutlets
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil (vegetable oils can be substituted)
- 1 1/2 lemons (juice of)
- 1 tbsp. chicken bouillon
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Trim chicken cutlets and cube them (bite size pcs); set aside.
- Form a marinade by combining remaining ingredients.
- Add in cubed chicken, cover and put in refrigerator for several hrs or possibly overnight.
- Place marinated chicken pcs on broiler pan.
- Cook approximately 5 min, turn over chicken pcs.
- Cook several more min under broiler.
- Chicken is done when browned and tender.
- If you like serve on pita bread with red onion slices and/or possibly yogurt.
