Chili Con Carne

  1. Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in 3 quart saucepan until beef is brown.
  2. Drain.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans.
  4. Break up tomatoes. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 hour. Stir in beans, heat to boiling, reduce heat.
  5. Simmer uncovered, stirring mixture occasionally until desired consistency, about 20 minutes.
  6. Serves 4.
  7. Serve with warm cornbread.
