Grilled Rib-Eye with Glazed Mushrooms
- Glazed Mushrooms
- 2-1/4 cups unsalted butter
- 7-1/2 qt. button mushrooms, quartered
- 3 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
- Steak/Assembly
- 24 each boneless beef rib-eye steaks, 14 oz. each
- 3 qt. crispy onion straws
- 120 slices potatoes, thick cut, fried Safeway 2 pkg For $5.00 thru 02/09
- Glazed Mushrooms: Melt butter in ovenproof saute pan on medium heat.
- Add mushrooms; saute 5 min.
- or until browned.
- Add steak sauce and pepper; toss to evenly coat mushrooms.
- Bake in 300 degrees F convection oven 15 min., tossing every 5 min.
- Remove from oven; set aside.
- For each serving: Grill 1 steak until desired doneness.
- Place 1/2 cup onion straws on one side of plate; top with steak and 1/2 cup mushrooms.
- Arrange 5 potato slices on other side of plate.
