Caramelized Onion Dip with Dijon-Ranch Dressing
- 1-1/2 qt. yellow onions, diced King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 qt. sour cream
- - PHILADELPHIA Original Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup KRAFT MAYO Real Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 6 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Classic Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tsp. TAPATIO Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- - assorted crackers
- Saute yellow onions in oil and butter in heavy saute pan on low heat 10 min.
- or until onions are tender.
- Remove from heat; cool.
- Use pulsing action to process all remaining ingredients except crackers in food processor until well blended.
- Stir in onions.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
- Serve with the crackers.
