Okonomiyaki-style Toast
- 1 slice Sliced bread (thick)
- 1 leaf Cabbage
- 1 piece Bacon
- 1 Egg
- 1 to tatse Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Tempura crumbs (optional)
- 1 as required Vegetable oil
- 1 as required Okonomiyaki sauce
- 1 as required Mayonnaise
- 1 as required Dried Bonito flakes
- 1 as required Dried green nori flakes
- Cut out the white part of the bread (with your knife cut along the crust).
- Slice the bacon and cabbage.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and lay the crust in the pan.
- Fill the cavity with cabbage and bacon.
- (Fry over a medium to low heat.)
- Salt and pepper.
- Stir in the whisked egg and tempura crumbs.
- Place the cut-out white part of bread over the ingredients inside the crust.
- Press gently.
- Flip and fry further.
- Put the toppings on the toast and serve.
- If you cut the toast, it should look similar to this.
