Mary Jacob's Best Sugar Cookies Recipe
- 4 1/2-5 c. flour
- 4 Large eggs (or possibly 6 whites)
- 2 c. white sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla (we prefer almond flavoring)
- 1 c. butter
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add in Large eggs and flavoring and beat until creamy.
- Add in flour, baking soda, baking pwdr, and salt.
- Stir by hand.
- Roll out fairly thick and cut your cookies.
- Bake at 375 degrees only 6-8 min.
- Remove from cookie sheet while warm.
- Frost with your favorite frosting.
- This is our all-time favorite Christmas cookie recipe.
